Survival Flint Rod with Metal Knife Rod

A magnesium and flint fire starter with a steel scraper. Works when wet and in cold weather.

What's included:

• Magnesium rod (8 mm diameter)
• Flint striker
• Steel scraper

How to use:

1. Scrape a small pile of magnesium shavings onto dry tinder (paper, grass or bark).
2. Hold the flint at about 45°, 2.5 cm from the shavings, and strike fast with the scraper to throw sparks onto them.
